Rita Camarillo, LPC, is a Senior Clinician at Holistic Counseling Solution with over 25 years of experience in behavioral health. A graduate of Rutgers University and the College of St. Elizabeth (MA in Counseling Psychology, 2004), Rita is a highly respected expert within the New Jersey Children’s System of Care (CSOC).

• Bio-Psychosocial (BPS) Assessments: Expertly utilizing the Crisis Assessment Tool (CAT) and Strength and Needs Assessment (SNA) since 2004.

• Intensive In-Community (IIC) Clinician: Providing high-level, community-based support for youth and families across New Jersey.

• Multilingual Therapy: Offering individual and family counseling in English, Spanish, and Arabic to serve New Jersey’s diverse immigrant communities.

Trauma-Informed Care & Specialized Training

Beyond her work as an IIC Clinician, Rita is a Senior Training & Consultation Specialist with the Rutgers Behavioral Research & Training Institute. She specializes in immigrant trauma and best practices for supporting immigrant families. As an Advanced Nurtured Heart Approach Trainer, Rita empowers parents and caregivers at Holistic Counseling Solution to build transformative relationships with their children.
